Patient. Determined. Steady.

His voice has a steady pace and his personality is visibly patient. George Woodson has committed close to 20 years to the Progress Printing Plus team. Working daily on the perfect binder, George helps ensure the final components of a project come together for complete customer satisfaction. His work contributes to the production team by consistently providing expertise in all aspects of finishing.

As he closes out his career with us and looks forward to retirement in 2020, his diligent work will be missed.

His Hobby

Much like his role at Progress, George enjoys seeing a project through to completion. Although he admits, with a car restoration, “You never really finish it.”

He offers a reassuring nod and explains, “It’s an expensive hobby so you have to be patient, stop and go back to it from time-to-time.” he says

“I love old cars,” he shares with a smile and his ‘67 Chevelle reflects his passion. He bought it in 2000 as only the second owner. Originally in blue, George took the car down to the frame and slowly rebuilt the convertible, turning this ride into an eye-catching, candy apple red delight.

As President of the Wise Men Car Club, he also has another project in the pipeline—a ‘57 Chevy.

"I'm looking forward to working on it in retirement."
