Be sure to register your mailing in advance through the USPS Business Customer Gateway and receive approval via the Mailing Promotions portal.

Eligibility Basics

To qualify for the Catalog Insights Promotion, your mail piece must meet USPS’s definition of a catalog:

  • Bound or fastened along one edge (stapled, stitched, glued, etc.)

  • At least 12 pages long (including the cover)

  • Showcase products or services for sale with images, descriptions, and pricing (or a way to obtain pricing)

  • Include fulfillment or ordering information, such as a phone number, web address, or order form

  • Mailed under Marketing Mail or Nonprofit Marketing Mail classifications

There’s no minimum volume requirement.

Add-On Discounts: Stack Your Savings

The 10% discount is great on its own, but it gets even better. Mailers can stack additional savings through add-on incentives:

How to Enroll

  1. Register your catalog campaign in the USPS Business Customer Gateway.

  2. Submit sample pages (cover and several interiors) for review and approval.

  3. Apply the promotion to your mailings once approved. Discounts are taken directly at the time of mailing, not as a rebate.
